i'm not proud, i'l find my own way out of the boiling abyss and wake every morning in a fever dream and spending the weekends with my back to the sea it's bound to be worse before it gets better but even the weak links can hold us together living through the end of the world hard to know which way to go when tomorrow's all you got left sleeping in your two-door green compact sedan spending your last days being chased in by the ocean we'll have roses for the living and bread for the condemned build new things together until the sun’s spent but is it worth the weight of the world? all i have is all i can spare i'd take or follow you anywhere what kind of world are we building to? when will you let someone love you? i don't know if we'd make it together but we could make our days count while we wait out the weather so if you change your mind just say the word

Mess (2020) 03:16
she don’t mind waking up alone she don’t mind talking to this empty home quiet keeping her company while the vultures scream circling drones she don’t care what the critics say she don’t care which name goes on her grave darting eyes never settling carrying through on her day to day she says, yeah, I'm a mess but I'm trying my best to be all that you expect of me picture-perfect princess broke, broken, and depressed just pretty enough to pass invisibly she don’t want her failure to win she don’t want to give up and to give in the inescapable momentum of the black hole where her heart had been racing home sixteen miles to go silence cuts through the radio the sun is chasing her down she never stops to rest will always second guess every move every choice every day on an aimless mission slave to indecision free to sit and worry her minutes away but despite all the stress she’s doing her best but can't fight the raw gravity so she's scraping her pennies and burning her twenties so that some day she might be free

every day's a disaster, new sights to behold my feed's full of horrors about to unfold but if you're trapped in a moment controlled by fear it won't be easy but a good day is near so when the sky goes black and your eyes turn red and the spiraling thoughts fill your crowded head let it ride, let it break it'll happen, we'll help it together the earth is still spinning and dead stars still shine even mountains can move one rock at a time so when those d.c. fuckups put a ring in your ears just know that it won't come easy, but a good day is near yeah, it won't come easy, but a good day is near so when the sky goes black and your eyes turn red and the spiraling thoughts fill your crowded head let it ride, let it break it'll happen, we'll help it together so don't think for a second that weak and alone it takes strength to stand on your own find the family that will stand up and cheer it won't be easy but a good day is near yeah, it took a long time, to say "i'm proud to be queer" and it won't be easy, but a good day is near
